Adult Yoga Classes

Astangayoga (eight-step yoga) is recommended for adults. Astangayoga effects a deep cleansing process for the body, senses, the mind, and the intellect. Asanas (yogic postures) are the first part of purification of the body. Pranayama (breath exercise), strengthens the respiratory system, massages the abdominal organs, can decrease restlessness and increase in the minds ability to focus. Asana, pranayama, and meditation combined will manifest satva: order, happiness, clarity and lightness of body. Irrespective of age, anyone can begin a yoga practice.
